The State Baptist Young Woman's Auxiliary (YWA), in conjunction with the SCCDCN, conducted a workshop to educate and inform members of the church and community about cervical and prostate cancer in African Americans. This workshop was held on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Darlington, SC. The coordinators for this event were Lanina Gordon, Pamela Ball and Deidre Odom.
